Personality: Quirky. Sarcastic. Honest to a fault. Straight-forward. Inquisitive. Goofy, when relaxed. Quiet. Generally shy. Mellow.
History: Jeff was born and raised in Huntington to Lloyd and Patricia Hunters. The eldest of four (followed by a brother, Ewan, and two sisters, Rebecca and Christine), he was always a little quieter in school and in socialization growing up. His best friend, James Carlisle, helped to bring him out of his shell. He grew up with James, as their parents were best friends before either of them was born. Jeff always seemed to have a head for numbers, and starting his own businesses. He did the usual lemonade stands, but would actually try and attract customers based on location and promotion. He usually roped James in following along in his schemes, but James was always the one talking to prospective customers, using his linguistic skills and charisma to attract people. When James' mother died, Jeff and his family took him in for two weeks, giving his father a chance to get back on his feet. Jeff and James pretended, firmly, that they were brothers for those two weeks, and it always stayed with them. Jeff and James attended different schools, but always stayed in contact and always made plans with one another. Jeff attended St. Anthony's HIgh School and graduated Suma Cum Laude. He and James then enrolled in NYU together, with James majoring in English Education and Jeff majoring in Finance. They didn't room together, but were still inseparable.

It was during his junior year of college that he met Amelia, his then-girlfriend. She was an education student from Chicago who was focusing in Speech-Language Pathology. The two fell in love and were wed shortly before graduating from college. They've been married ever since, and plan to start having children in the next few years. (They had lost a pregnancy a short while back, in the fifth month).

After graduating NYU, Jeff returned back to Long Island with his wife, settling in his hometown of Huntington. This is when he managed to get into owning Tao. He had heard it needed a new owner and, thinking he had the head for this kind of thing, asked his parents for the money to buy it. He renovated it to be like an Asian temple with the intention of having it be a five-star restaurant during the day and early evenings, and a highly exclusive club at night. He renamed it Tao, and opened its doors five years ago. It quickly gained recognition for its service, ambiance, and selection. Soon, celebrities from all over began showing up, and Tao gained notoriety in no time.

He and Mia had separated in January of 2009 and finally divorced 4 or so months later (somewhere around April). Since their split, he moved into a brownstone in Brooklyn and let Mia have their house in Huntington. He's poured himself into his job, playing with various musical acts that come to his club as a keyboardist, and has begun entertaining the idea of starting his own record label.
Random Fact: Jeff can name up to 50 digits of pi without hesitation.
